1. Introduction
SnapJota provides product capture, inventory management, checkout and payment-terminal connectivity features. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored and protected when you use SnapJota.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on the features you use, information may include account information such as your name, email address or phone number; product and inventory information; images you choose to capture or upload; checkout and transaction metadata; device and diagnostic information; and support communications.
3. Camera and images
SnapJota may request access to your device camera or photo library so that you can capture and upload product images. These permissions are used only for app functionality that requires them.
4. Inventory information
Product names, categories, prices, stock records and related business information may be processed and stored so SnapJota can provide inventory and checkout functionality.
5. Payments
SnapJota may facilitate payment collection through supported payment terminals or platform-approved in-app purchase systems. Card data entered directly on a payment terminal is processed by the relevant payment service provider and should not be stored by SnapJota unless explicitly stated in the final production architecture.
6. How information is used
Information may be used to provide app functionality, authenticate users, manage inventory, process checkout workflows, connect to supported terminals, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide support and comply with applicable legal obligations.
7. Service providers
SnapJota may use trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, communications and payments. Before publication, this section should be updated to name or accurately describe the production services and SDKs actually used.
8. Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal or accounting requirements, or until deletion is requested where applicable.
9. Account and data deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information through the app or by contacting support@snapjota.com. The final production process and any legally required retention exceptions should be documented here before store submission.
10. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, including encrypted network connections and controlled access to production systems. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children's privacy
SnapJota is not intended for children unless the final product and store listing explicitly state otherwise. The target audience declaration in each app store should match the app's actual intended users.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as SnapJota evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying users.
13. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to support@snapjota.com.
